i'm having trouble adjusting from PC to a MAC.
i'm still going on my shitty PC, avoiding the time it's gonna take to teach myself everything on a mac. i'm still using paintshop to retouch/resize pictures instead of photoshop cs4. i've sat here and really tried to teach myself random little things, and still i don't know why the mac doesn't read my camera when i connect it?
where the fuck are all my pictures?!
just a bunch of little things don't make any sense to me. i figured out how to use the clone brush, but that's like pretty much it! where is the smudge brush on photoshop?! how do you only sharpen/blur one small area at a time instead of the entire picture? why do pictures paste of top of each other instead of a new window?
omgggg, so many things i don't understand...
i need someone to come over and give me a one on one lesson whenever i'm home... or maybe someone can go to aim and answer a few things for me? i'd really fucking appreciate it! this means so much to me!
i'd like to get this shit down asap!

there's an application on the iphone for medical marijuana patients-- it locates every single dispensary. I found 165 in just the valley. haha, what the fuck?
I won't be wasting my time going to those that rip everyone off. this thing even has reviews.

this is all of us performing 'never true', i wish one of our new songs got recorded but my friend walked in towards the LAST song. next time we play there's going to be drums!
i think we're getting a mac tonight! i'm going to learn how to record and mix music! jamie is going to teach me everything they are teaching him at school right now. i can't wait to share the ideas i have in my head. :)

as some of you know, i got my $2,000 camera stolen from me last week out of the blue. i'm going to do everything in my power to get another one as soon as possible. to be honest, i can't really think about anything else throughout the day. i feel so naked without my camera in my hands, i really do.
jamie brought back a very rare vintage bass guitar from Texas to sell to help me with my fund. the longer he keeps the guitar, the more value it has. i know it's hard for him to give it up and he shouldn't have to but he'll pretty much do anything to make me happy, and i'm so fucking lucky to be a part of him and his love! I can't even believe it sometimes.
if any of you want to help by donating, that'd be awesome! even if it's just a dollar, or whatever, it makes a huge difference!
i will take& post a million more pictures once i get my 3rd eye sight back!

LAST NIGHT, i got my $2,000 nikon d90 digital/video camera stolen in the girl's bathroom.
some fucked up bitch grabbed it and got away. i'm trying to keep it the fuck together but it's hard. how the fuck do you not feel bad looking through my pictures, my videos, my fucking everyday life?! it is beyond disgusting.
whoever took it ran out of the club right away. we put the place on lock down and made everyone leave through the front door & checked everybody's bags. but it's gone... they got away the moment it was in their hands. i fucked up for letting it down. i feel like such an idiot! i wasn't even drunk! i got to move on... i've been in tears since it happened. i keep day dreaming of someone finding it in their heart to return it... or hoping the bitch gets ratted out by one of her friends.
i don't know, i'm so so sad. it's going to suck to have to make payments for a camera i don't even have anymore? i worked fucking hard for it,it was my life. i probably sound so stupid but i don't give a fuck!
note to self or other photographers:
NEVER EVER TAKE THE STRAP OFF YOUR HEAD! EVER! EVEN FOR A SECOND!
that's all it takes.
one thing i don't and won't ever do is steal from another person.
it was the most amazing toy i've ever had.
i'm going to miss my 3rd eye.

Journalism student and Daily Sundial A&E Editor Dylan Miles died Monday. 11/24/08
Journalism student and Daily Sundial Arts & Entertainment Editor Dylan Miles, 22, died Monday night at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley. He is survived by his two older brothers and both his parents.
Miles was a reporter for the Sundial in the spring 2008 semester and subsequently became A&E editor this fall semester at CSUN. He was also on the Dean's List as a freshman.
A memorial service will be held THIS SATURDAY, Dec. 6 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery from 5 to 9 p.m. at 10621 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood.
(it's going to be open word, music, and video.)
